Prolific LA-based musician Hand Habits (aka Meg Duffy) has announced their third album Fun House, with its explorative lead track 'Aquamarine'. Propelled by a clean kick and snare pattern, 'Aquamarine' is a personal attempt to understand one's own identity. Carrying the weight of Duffy's words, the instrumentation is comparatively light, as rippling synths and atmospheric samples fill out the mix in all the right spots. Accompanied by an incredibly well executed one-shot video, Duffy comments: “We filmed this video in my aunt's bar and club in upstate New York, linking the origin and lineage themes in the song with the visuals of changing identities and characters in a space I used to wander as a teen.” Fun House will arrive via Saddle Creek on the 22nd of October. -Holly Mullineaux
